At Pictures of Lily, we offer professional and hygienic body piercing in a welcoming, friendly studio. As proud members of the UKAPP (United Kingdom Association of Professional Piercers), we ensure all of our piercings are performed safely using the highest-quality materials and sterile equipment. We are also proud to be the only body piercing studio across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire to hold UKAPP membership, a reflection of our commitment to the highest industry standards.
We provide a wide range of piercings, from traditional placements to more unique and advanced styles, always ensuring suitability for your individual anatomy. We also offer a carefully curated selection of body jewellery. For those wanting something a bit special, we stock premium brands including Industrial Strength, Buddha Jewellery Organics, Anatometal, Danila Tarcinale, BVLA, Auris, Junipurr, Sacred Symbols and many, many more.
Our team has a wealth of knowledge and experience in intimate body piercing, carried out with the utmost professionalism, discretion and care. For clients wishing to view examples of this work, we offer a password-protected gallery available upon request, with valid ID required.
At the studio, we welcome people from all walks of life and all ages, although we won’t pierce anyone under the age of 18 unless accompanied by a parent or guardian (genital piercing is strictly 21+). Certain piercings are subject to age restrictions, and we only pierce children’s lobes from age 7 upwards. For first-time or more nervous clients, we’re always happy to arrange a visit to tour the studio and answer any questions to help put you at ease.
Rest assured, our experienced piercers follow the strictest hygiene standards and regularly attend industry conferences to stay at the forefront of techniques, safety and best practice. After your piercing, you’ll receive detailed aftercare instructions along with ongoing support to ensure a smooth and healthy healing process.

Studio Owner/ Head piercer
Hey, I’m Bex, the owner of Pictures of Lily. I opened the studio in 2015 with my partner, who was a tattoo artist, leaving behind my career as an agricultural livestock lecturer so, a bit of a career shift, to say the least! In 2017, I attended my first UKAPP conference, which really changed the game for me. Since then, I’ve been committed to providing the best possible service, and I’ve been a proud member of the UK Association of Professional Piercers since 2021.
Fun facts about me:
I have three rescue French Bulldogs: Doris, Geoffrey, and Myrtle.
Adventure travel is my passion, I’ve been to some pretty unusual places, like North Korea and motorcycled around Outer Mongolia!
I’m a total history geek, especially when it comes to the Plantagenets (I’m obsessed with Eleanor of Aquitaine), Greek mythology, and Ancient Rome.
I’m an avid book reader.
I’m a bit of an old hippy, living in harmony with nature.
My piercings are probably older than many of my clients, mostly done in the late 80s/early 90s.

Studio Manager/ Senior Piercer
Hi, I’m Steph a proud member of the UKAPP and professional body piercer since 2016. My passion for body modifications and the alternative scene began at a very young age (around age 10 I was already wearing heavy metal band jumpers), over the years I’ve developed a particular interest in unique piercing projects, particularly high gauge piercings.
I’m thrilled to be part of a talented team at Pictures of Lily, where we all share a commitment to the craft and a dedication to providing a safe professional service. To ensure I’m always improving, I attend conferences and sit seminars as many times a year as I can to expand my skills and stay ahead of industry trends.
When I’m not at the studio, I’m lifting heavy weights at the gym, spending time with my rescue baby/Olde Tyme Bulldog Beans or volunteering at the Blue Cross helping animals needing some love and attention.

Junior Piercer
My name is Charlie, I’ve been an apprentice body piercer since August 2023 and I’m proud to say I’m an accredited UKAPP Associate.
My love of body piercing stems from many areas; I’m a huge nerd for alternative and queer history and the roots of western body piercing are largely tied into both scenes. This all started when I was about 15 and got my first piercing at Pictures of Lily!
I have a great interest in custom industrial projects. I love altering jewellery to create a safe and bespoke piece which works with an individual’s anatomy, especially in cases where the client was previously told what they wanted wasn’t achievable. I could also talk about fine jewellery for hours, and often do!
Outside of work I’m a cat lover, a queer nightlife organiser and am frequently spotted rummaging through vintage stores or charity shops. I often joke that when I’m not thinking about piercings, I’m thinking about clothes and shoes!
Fashion and personal styling are of huge interest to me – which is probably why I love curating jewellery for clients so much!
